My Experience

I became interested in birthing after watching a former employer’s extreme discomfort in early labor with her second child. This discomfort lasted for weeks. Neither she nor I knew of any way to alleviate the pain and discomfort she experienced. I knew there had to be a better way, so I decided to educate myself on methods to flip a breeched baby and relieve discomfort during a woman’s pregnancy.

Since my training through DONA, I’ve attended and performed doula services for births in Montgomery County, Baltimore City, Anne Arundel County, Frederick County and Howard County. There are testimonials from new mothers I’ve helped through childbearing and postpartum care. I can also provide references upon request.

I’ve worked with infants and children for 10+ years. I work as an infant specialist and nanny on a day-to-day basis. Currently, I care for two infants, 6 months apart, and two school-age children, 18 months apart.

I’ve lived in the Baltimore, MD area for most of my life. I currently reside just outside Ellicott City in Howard County, MD.
